The projects include Active Travel activity, specifically:

a contribution to the replacement of the existing footbridge between Forge Island and Riverside Corporation Street,
-
cycle infrastructure improvements along Fredrick Street to provide a bi-directional cross town-centre link,
-
2.2km as segregated (uni-directional, up to 2m wide) from Blackburn Meadows Way to Ickles, and around 1km segregated (bi-directional, up to 3m wide) from Ickles to the town centre.
TCF allocation: £9,306,108
This project, which is currently in development, includes a contribution from the Government’s Transforming Cities Fund Tranche 2 resources.
