The key towns and core city of the South Yorkshire MCA are undergoing a private sector led urban renaissance. The South Yorkshire MCA uses its available capital funding to help unlock private sector investment.
A package of measures designed to enable and accelerate the successful development of the Sheffield Central Retail & Business District, creating and safeguarding jobs, and addressing city centre transport and accessibility issues.
This project, which has completed, included a contribution from the Government’s Local Growth Fund resources which is part of the Government’s continued investment in the Northern Powerhouse.
This investment is expected to deliver 651 jobs.

Total project cost: £15,273,130
