SEYMOUR LINK ROAD

Investing in infrastructure, including highways is a key part of our efforts to unlock economic growth in the South Yorkshire region. 

The project delivered road and service infrastructure which provides an essential connection between Markham Vale North business and commercial park and the M1 J29A.  The road provides access to 33ha of large scale serviced sites for international industrial occupiers and good quality regional companies.

This project, which has completed, included a contribution from the Government’s Local Growth Fund resources which is part of the Government’s continued investment in the Northern Powerhouse.

This investment is expected to deliver 2157 jobs.

Total project cost: £7,560,000
