The key towns and core city of South Yorkshire are undergoing a private sector led urban renaissance. SYMCA uses its available capital funding to help unlock private sector investment including transport connectivity.
The “Inner Ring Road” project helps deliver transport infrastructure improvements to unlock further economic growth in Sheffield City Centre. This improvement scheme has provided extra capacity at key junctions around Bridgehouses for all traffic along the route, providing journey time and reliability benefits for commuters, business users and public transport providers.
