The scheme, completed in July 2024,  has delivered 1.4km of new and enahnced bus lanes between Maltby and Hellaby, improving journey times and reliability for bus services. It includes a new additional lane near Wickersley School and Sports College, alongside a combination of new lanes and repurposed road space in the Rotherham-bound direction.

Improvements have also been made to the bus stop at Brecks Crescent to help buses rejoin traffic more easily, supporting smoother and more efficient travel.  The scheme has also delivered a new pedestrian crossing and improvements to an existing crossing to enhance safety and accessibilty for all road users.
