Plan for Good Growth

To restore the pride, purpose and prosperity of South Yorkshire, we are building a new growth model that delivers growth for good.

This Plan will deliver a resilient South Yorkshire by increasing regional income, investment and secure, high-paid jobs focused in four Growth Areas. And it will connect and strengthen our communities by transforming the underpinning economic and social infrastructure, within the parameters set by our climate commitments.

Following publication, we are engaging with business leaders, local authorities and the public on the governance and delivery vehicles for our Growth Areas. This includes discussing additional funding to go towards the Growth Area support package. We will provide an update on delivery and support later this year.
