M1 JUNCTION 36 HOYLAND - PHASE 1

Investing in infrastructure, including highways is a key part of our efforts to unlock economic growth in the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority region.

This project (phase 1) will contribute to the deliver of new and improved highways infrastructure works and on-site servicing works, which will enable the delivery of two key areas of employment land along the M1 Junction 36 / A6195 Dearne Valley Economic Growth Corridor. Phase 1 unlocks 94 ha of employment land.

This project, which is currently in delivery, includes a contribution from the Government’s Local Growth Fund resources which is part of the Government’s continued investment in the Northern Powerhouse.

This investment is expected to deliver 4555 net jobs.

Total project cost: £57,034,437
