DN7 UNITY HATFIELD LINK ROAD

Creating a super-connected city region is an important objective for the South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority. We are committed to investing in enabling transport infrastructure. 

This project aims to deliver a 2.9km road from J5 M18 to unlock the Unity mixed-use development comprising 3,100 houses, commercial floor space and local centre, retail and educational facilities. The road will also provide better connectivity for existing settlements.

The project forms part of the £320m Sheffield City Region Infrastructure Fund (SCRIF). This project, which is currently in delivery, includes a contribution from the Government’s Local Growth Fund resources which is part of the Government’s continued investment in the Northern Powerhouse.

This investment is expected to deliver 7681 jobs.

Total project cost: £15,855,000
