IT’S NEVER TOO LATE TO LEARN AND ACHIEVE YOUR GOALS

We will fund you to learn if you are aged 19 or older and live in South Yorkshire, so that you can improve your skills, get back to work, remain and progress in work.

It's really important for you to have the necessary skills and qualifications to get ahead in your chosen career path.

Through the Adult Education Budget we support fundamental programmes, including; Maths, English, English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) and Digital/IT, which will develop your skills no matter what goal you want to achieve.

We also fund full and part-time courses across our region that include; construction, green skills, manufacturing, healthcare, retail, logistics and transport and many other options.

The learning is available in Further Education colleges, training providers, and community organisations and supports you if you are either employed or unemployed. This training opportunity will help you to get the skills you need to find or progress in a job, a Traineeship or Apprenticeship, or continue your journey with further learning.
