Young People’s Mental Health and Employability Support Programme - South Yorkshire Mayoral Combined Authority (OC28S21P1837)
Call to run a project to deliver intensive, innovative and holistic support to young people with mental health issues – through a portfolio of individually tailored provision.
Through this call the Managing Authority is seeking projects to deliver intensive, innovative and holistic support to young people with mental health issues – such as sleeplessness, depression and anxiety – who are disengaged from mainstream activity and at increased risk of NEET or long-term unemployment through a portfolio of individually tailored provision. Provision will tackle the damage done by, and mitigate the impact of, the pandemic on a particularly vulnerable cohort by helping them prepare for work and transition into learning and work, including provision introduced under the Government’s Jobs Plan for long term unemployed.
The programmes of activity can be delivered across the whole of South Yorkshire by a single provider, consortium of providers or individual proposals that align with specific Local Authority areas (Barnsley, Doncaster, Rotherham and/or Sheffield). Evidence will be expected of alignment to and partnership with existing mental health and employability services offered at local level (statutory and non-statutory provision).
